The kitchen crew, one of the most important part of the hog killing! Sometimes the hog killing would be a long, hard day and a wonderful spread was put on by the
women of the area. The menfolks would send the liver and a tenderloin to the kitchen to be fixed for dinner. Many wonderful vegetables, and don't forget the desserts! And the wonderful
fellowship around the table. Mr. Homer Wilson told me many years ago of the table at my grandmothers, it would hold 10 at a time and he has seen it change three times before the children got
to eat! Can you imagine cooking for 30 people PLUS KIDS!
